A podcast from the Children and Youth Department of The Salvation Army in the UK & Ireland. In each episode a special guest will join our host for a hypothetical hike as they face four choices and answer four questions - How do we face change? How do we move through suffering? How do we receive joy? How do we mature in service? It’s a chance for them to reflect on their life so far and share wisdom from the way.

In this episode, our guest is Jill Rowe. Jill qualified as a teacher and youth & community worker and spent 6 years living and working in the heart of the inner city in Derby. Her role as Director of Ethos & Formation ensures that Oasis remains true to its organisational identity and ethos, and to resource and equip all Oasis leaders, staff, students, volunteers and wider community members to have opportunity to engage in their own personal development and character formation. Jill volunteers as part of the leadership team of Oasis Church Waterloo, enjoys watching football and, given the chance playing as well.
